The questions we get most.
Eight questions that come up regularly. Click any to expand. Have one we haven't answered? Send us a note.
01 Is this site free?
Yes. Everything on One More. is free to use — no paywall, no premium tier, no signup required to access any content or quiz.
02 Do you provide trading signals or recommendations?
No. This is strictly an educational site. We don't tell you what to buy, when to enter, or when to exit. We teach you how to recognize patterns and understand strategic frameworks so you can make your own informed decisions.
03 Will learning these patterns make me a profitable trader?
We can't promise that, and we wouldn't want to. Pattern recognition is a foundational skill for traders, but profitability depends on many other factors: risk management, psychology, capital, market conditions, and consistent execution. What this site offers is one piece of the puzzle — an important one, but not the only one.
04 What markets do these patterns apply to?
The candlestick and chart patterns covered here are universal. They appear in stocks, forex, futures, crypto, and commodities — any market that has buyers, sellers, and a price chart will display these structures. The interpretation may shift slightly between markets (forex moves differently from small-cap stocks), but the core patterns are the same.
05 How long does it take to become proficient at reading charts?
Months at minimum to recognize patterns reliably. Years to integrate that recognition into a coherent trading approach. Anyone promising faster is selling something. Trading literacy is closer to learning a language than learning a recipe.
06 How is my progress saved?
Quiz progress is saved locally in your browser. That means your scores and completion status stay with you on the device you're using, but they won't transfer between devices. We don't collect any account information.
07 Why is the site organized around quizzes instead of articles?
Because pattern recognition is a skill built through repetition, not reading. You can read about the head and shoulders pattern a hundred times, but until you've identified it on a hundred charts, you don't really know it. The quiz format forces active recognition; articles let you read passively and forget.
